These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of youHungry? (the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding agreement under applicable law to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that entity.

Accounts and Access

• You may sign in with Google or use a guest account where available.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs on your account.
• Keep your sign-in credentials and devices secure, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access.

Using the Service

youHungry? helps users create sessions, invite friends, swipe restaurants, and match on a place to eat. Place details and map data come from third-party providers and may be incomplete, outdated, or unavailable.

Acceptable Use

• Do not harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Do not misuse the Service, including probing, scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with platform security.
• Do not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.

Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party platforms, including Firebase, Google Maps/Places, and Expo notification infrastructure. Your use of those components may also be subject to the third party's terms and policies.

Account Deletion and Termination

You may delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or where required by law. Some session-related data may remain in backups for a limited period.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including branding, software, and content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
